X-Rite i1Display Pro quick review

On June 21st, X-Rite announced their latest and greatest colorimeter, the i1Display Pro. How does it stack up against previous sensors? I’ll get right into it, put simply, the i1Display Pro hardware is phenomenal. This is the best colorimeter ever produced for under $1000. Should you buy one? Well… it’s complicated. Why? It’s the software. Personally I’m a bit surprised. I like Gamut Prints to be on top of what our clients are using. As such we own a number of different packages.
